Anthony Joshua Delivers Brutal Three Word Prediction For Oleksandr Usyk-Tyson Fury Rematch

Former two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has made it clear who he is picking in the Oleksandr Usyk–Tyson Fury rematch.

Back in May the Ukrainian became the first man to ever defeat ‘The Gypsy King’ and, in the process, captured all of the belts in boxing’s blue ribbon division.

Usyk now joins Evander Holyfield as only the second man to ever be undisputed at both cruiserweight and heavyweight, but he’s the first to ever do it in the four belt era.

The 37-year-old’s journey to heavyweight supremacy included two back-to-back victories over Joshua. Usyk outclassed and outpointed the Brit over the distance on both occasions, winning and retaining the WBA, IBF and WBO world titles.

Like ‘AJ’, Fury will get a chance to avenge his only loss, with a contracted rematch put in place before the first encounter. The two will battle it out once again on December 21 back in Saudi Arabia.

During a FaceTime call between the two British heavyweight stars Fury told Joshua he would ‘get the job done’ in the rematch, to which ‘AJ’ bluntly responded with his prediction.

“No you won’t!”

In a seperate interview with IFL TV, ‘AJ’ said he simply felt Usyk was better.

“I think Fury’s good, he had some good moments, I just don’t think he can do it. It’s not that I don’t rate him, I just don’t think that he’s better than Usyk.”

Fury caused a stir when he broke his silence on the loss, claiming the fight was ‘too easy’ and that he felt he only lost a handful of rounds to the slick southpaw, something the vast majority pundits disagree with.

None the less, the first fight was a close back and forth encounter where both men enjoyed success and there aren’t too many fans upset about seeing them do it all again.
